Gift Shop Renaming Contest
The Maury Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Gift Shop will be under new management with Lori's Gifts effective September 9.
This change brings a host of benefits, including a wider range of merchandise and a convenient shopping experience — plus, the opportunity to decide a new name, together.
About the gift shop
Working with more than 150 vendors, the new gift shop will offer a variety of products, including flowers, balloons, cards, jewelry, candles, stuffed animals, seasonal gifts, baby and sibling gifts, logo-wear, clothing, local team products, an expanded snack section, reading materials (books, magazines and newspapers) and much, much more.
Lori’s Gifts will also introduce a customized rewards loyalty program for hospital staff. And, for those who cannot visit in person, online ordering will soon be available at MauryRegional.com/GiftShop.
Naming contest
We are excited about a new chapter for our hospital community and want to take this opportunity to reimagine the gift shop’s brand. We have creative team members across the organization, so we are launching a contest and inviting employees, providers and volunteers to help us rename the new gift shop.
Prize
The winner will receive various Maury Regional Health logo items, including a cooler bag, trucker hat and two coffee mugs, along with various local-themed notepads and additional items estimated at a total value of $200.
Should the winning name be submitted by more than one individual, the individual who first submitted the name will be the winner.
Contest guidelines
- Submissions will be accepted August 28–September 4.
- Submissions must be from current Maury Regional Health employees, providers or volunteers to be eligible for the prize.
- Participants may submit no more than two suggestions for consideration.
- Top submissions will be selected by members of the Naming Committee and screened for trademark violations. Those in violation of trademark or other intellectual property will not be considered.
- Maury Regional Health's executive team will vote for the winning name, with the results revealed during the gift shop’s ribbon-cutting event on September 25.
