Additional SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES
- Greet, assist and escort those entering the medical center as an ambassador
- Transport patients by wheelchair to areas within the medical center
- Assist visitors and answer the phone in waiting rooms
- Provide hand massages to patients
- Escort, offer directions, answer questions and deliver mail and flowers to patients
- Assist at nursing strations
- Offer clerical support in offices
- Assist staff and patients in the Cancer Center and Emergency Department
- Sew teddy bears, lap blankets and other gifts for patients
- Share joint replacement experience with current patients
- Offer help, support and encouragement to those who have experienced a stroke, as well as their family, friends and caregivers
