S.t.a.b.l.e. Course
This is a 7.5-hour course that is endorsed by the March of Dimes. The S.T.A.B.L.E. program is a neonatal post-resuscitation/pre-transport stabilization educational & clinical tool that has been implemented throughout the U.S. and other countries in the world.
“S.T.A.B.L.E.” stands for the six program modules:
- Sugar & Safe Care
- Temperature
- Airway
- Blood Pressure
- Lab Work
- Emotional Support for the Family
Neonatal assessment and stabilization guidelines are offered in each module. Prevention of adverse events and delivery of safe patient care are stressed throughout the program. This course is approved for continuing nursing education units.
Maury Regional Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Tennessee Nurses Association, an accredited provider by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
