nursing leadership
Message from the Chief Nursing Officer
At Maury Regional Health, we’re reimagining health care. Our commitment to providing exceptional service has been at the forefront of our mission. As the chief nursing officer, I am proud to lead a team of dedicated nurses who passionately work to meet the health needs of our community.
Our nursing staff, along with our entire health care team, continuously strive to deliver the highest standards of care, grounded in a patient-centered approach. Our flagship hospital, Maury Regional Medical Center, achieved Magnet® designation from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a national honor awarded to organizations that demonstrate nursing excellence.
Maury Regional Medical Center has also adopted the internationally recognized DAISY Award program, which celebrates extraordinary nurses. Nurses can be nominated by patients, family members, fellow nurses or other hospital staff – anyone who has experienced or observed the nurse’s extraordinary, compassionate care.
As a part of our commitment to reimagining health care and delivering superior patient experiences, Maury Regional Health has made, and will continue to make, ongoing investments in our facilities and medical equipment technology. This recently includes a $2.5M upgraded hybrid vascular operating room, four da Vinci robotic surgery platforms and the development of a new Orthopedic Surgical Institute currently undergoing construction. Maury Regional Health offers our nursing staff a wide range of opportunities to develop their skills, pursue their interests and advance their careers. Maury Regional Medical Center also participates in shared governance, which is a process that empowers nurses to take an active participatory role in decisions that affect nursing practice, resulting in increased professional autonomy and job satisfaction. Maury Regional Medical Center offers the RN Residency Program, which provides transitional support to newly graduated nurses starting their careers.
We are proud of our culture of collaboration and respect, and we are always looking for talented nurses who have a passion for helping others. Join our team! Apply at Careers.MauryRegional.com.
