Books for Children

Maury Regional Health understands the importance of reading to children to enhance bonding and promote development.

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library is a book gifting program that mails free books to children from birth to age five. Launched in 1995 to benefit the children in Dolly Parton’s home county in East Tennessee, this program now spans four countries and mails more than one million free books each month to children around the world. Families who deliver at Maury Regional Medical Center will be provided with a registration card during their stay or may register their child online at GovernorsFoundation.org.
