PHARMACY SERVICES

Maury Regional Health’s Department of Pharmacy provides comprehensive pharmacy care services. The primary role for the Pharmacy Department is to promote safe and effective medication therapy for all patients and to provide oversight and leadership of the medication use system. 

The Pharmacy Department oversees the processes of medication procurement, distribution (including our convenient outpatient pharmacy), clinical monitoring/management and regulatory compliance. 

Maury Regional pharmacists are licensed by the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy. Formulary decisions, protocol development and approval and safety strategies are managed through the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee and the Medication Safety Committee.
