Physical & other Therapy Services
Maury Regional Health has more than 30 experienced specialists at seven therapy centers throughout southern Middle Tennessee. Our therapy professionals have advanced training and certifications specific to their area of expertise, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and pediatric therapy to professionally guide you along your path to recovery. Therapy services vary by facility and may be offered with a physician's order or through our self-referral direct access program, depending on the type of therapy required. Our therapy services include:
DIRECT ACCESS THERAPY CONSULTATIONS
Direct access is a program that allows patients to be evaluated and receive physical therapy services without a physician’s order. Direct access is best for minor injuries that can benefit from physical therapy. Some examples include low-grade ligament sprains and muscle strains. Patients who qualify can schedule direct access physical therapy visits. If additional therapy is needed, we will coordinate with your physician. Your direct access appointment will be processed through your insurance provider and you will be responsible for any charges not covered. Recovery from surgery is often improved with physical therapy. Maury Regional Health physical therapists use proven techniques to improve range of motion and muscle strength following many procedures such as:

Maury Regional Health is pleased to provide therapy services to benefit those recovering from surgery. In certain cases, a physician may also recommend physical therapy prior to surgery to build muscle tone and strength.
