The award recognizes hospitals that have achieved excellence in clinical outcomes, patient safety, financial performance, and efficiency. This is the second time that Maury Regional Medical Center has been recognized with this honor.

Maury Regional Medical Center has also been ranked among the Top 10 Hospitals in Tennessee for orthopedic care by HealthGrades®, the nation's leading independent health care ratings company, in the 2008 HealthGrades analysis of hospital quality. 

Maury Regional Medical Center is a nationally accredited chest pain center and has received two VHA national awards for cardiac care and the Tennesseans Improving Patient Safety (TIPS) Award from the state’s Department of Health for its implementation of a rapid response team. The team, called the Critical Assessment Team (CAT), has significantly decreased the number of cardiopulmonary arrests since its inception at the medical center.

Maury Regional Home Services has been named to the 2007 HomeCare Elite, a compilation of the most successful Medicare-certified home health care providers in the United States. This is the second consecutive year Maury Regional Home Services has been recognized in this annual review that identifies the top 25% of agencies, ranked by an analysis of performance measures in quality outcomes, quality improvement and financial performance.
